FAQs

  • My minimum is $200. I give an estimated quote included in my first email response. I charge based on the details of the piece and by placement regardless of flash or custom. If you have my latest business card, click here

  • Appointment only at Slowpoke Tattoo

    1216 S Brookhurst St, Anaheim CA 92804

  • For deposits, Zelle only.

    In-person, Cash only.

  • At the moment I am only allowing 1 guest to accompany the client due to limited spacing. Guests must be respectful of the client and artist during the tattoo appointment. Any guest or client refusing to be respectful will be excused. Also, please introduce me to your guest so that we don’t stand there awkwardly!

  • Please see the deposit policy page. How you will arrange time and transportation for the appointment is solely the client’s responsibility. If you are a client who is only available on my days off, I may not be able to tattoo you. Weekend dates are very limited.

  • You can find my flash on Instagram @tachosflash. You can claim repeatable flash or pre-drawn designs when bookings are open. I will only post new flash pages on a designated date mentioned on my website. I will have a variety of original pre-drawn designs and concepts available as well as sets of repeatable flash that will be tattooed more than once. If a certain design you chose is taken, I may not respond to your email. Please wait at least 1 week before sending a follow-up email if you find it necessary.

  • Any drawings that are done will be shown at the appointment. We can discuss any minor changes needed the day of and discussing changes is much easier in person. Any major changes (example: change/addition of subject matter) may be subject to a reschedule and forfeit of deposit. You can also email me at least 1 week ahead of time if you’d like to change the subject matter and it will not affect your deposit. I will need time to prepare a new design.

  • I will announce an opening date on my Instagram story as well as keep my website consistently updated. I try to aim for 3-4 months at a time but it is uncertain and usually based on how many bookings I get during each round of openings as well as my personal schedule. Sometimes I will post on my Instagram story if there is a last-minute opening available. There is no waitlist.

  • Unfortunately, no. Please make sure to look through my Instagram to see if the way I tattoo is a good fit for what you’re looking to get. Reference images are to be used as reference only and I will design everything in my style. Sometimes I may respond by letting you know that I can’t fit you into my schedule. If the inquiry is incomplete, I do not respond. Please do not DM me on Instagram on the status of your email. I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

  • At the moment, it does not have top priority. It depends on what the tattoo is, what you want me to do to it, as well as how dark the original piece is. If it is a minor rework, I highly suggest contacting your previous artist.

  • Everything cute, pretty, fun and spooky. Extremities and fun stuff always, please! I also enjoy the simplicity of small simple tattoos as well.

I am currently not accepting any of the following subjects: styles completely different from my Instagram, geometric or armbands, realism, and hate or military symbols.

  • Sleeves are not my top priority at the moment. I would love to work on large-scale pieces using floral at the moment.

  • I do not have a preference! Whatever you are comfortable with, I am comfortable with. There will be verbal communication during the beginning of the appointment to discuss the design as well as the stencil application. Sometimes we can run out of things to talk about by the 4th hour and sometimes my brain gets real quiet and its really nice. At least that’s how I’ve been lately but conversation is also great! If you prefer to watch a movie, listen to music, or read a book on your phone — feel free to do so!

  • Yes, I provide free color swatches in either dots or lines for those who are trying to figure out whether they like the way a certain color heals on the skin. This is still a tattoo, so you may have to consider a hidden placement if you don’t want it to be visible.

  • If you are looking for something specifically thin, I may not be the best artist for your piece.

  • I am currently not fond of tattooing the neck, mouth, rib/rib cage, abdomen/lower abdomen, and private placements.

However, I’m not entirely against anything if I really love the idea. Send your inquiry anyways!

  • Every single-use equipment is properly disposed of after every tattoo, gloves are changed in between every client and during the procedure, tattoo machines are wrapped and cleaned between every client, and hands are washed between every client. I will be wearing a mask during the tattoo process and am fully covid-19 vaccinated. I am licensed with the Health Department of Orange County and have a bloodborne pathogens training certificate that is renewed and retrained yearly.

  • Ta-Cho. Like nacho but with a T.
