need help?

  • ✦ Different artists require different information for booking requests. It is important read through booking requirements for a speedy process and understanding.

✦ You must know what you’re looking to get. Details can be sorted out but the general idea needs to be there. This can help the artist understand your idea and give you the tattoo that you want.

✦ If there are specific things you want to incorporate into the piece, feel free to include them so that I can design accordingly.

✦ I prefer details to be straight to the point, bullet points can also help with organization

✦ Saying that you want something “exactly” like a certain photo usually deters any artists from taking your booking request. I will want to make things my own.

  • ✦ Good Lighting

✦ Have a friend help you out or prop your phone on a desk and take photos using the timer setting.

✦ Standing relaxed and taking the photo straight forward would be ideal. Twisting, turning of the body or camera angle can distort the way the placement truly appears.

✦ Crop anything I don’t need to see.

✦ Circle the area you want tattooed.

    REFERENCE PHOTOS:

✦ 3 is the perfect number. If you must, a fourth. Please don’t send videos.

✦ My own work as reference would be helpful but not necessary.

✦ If the photo is not relevant to what you’re requesting, please elaborate as to what you like about it. For example, if you are requesting flowers but you send a photo of a cow.

  • ✦ Photos are best, body placement names like “shin” and “elbow pit” would be great in comparison to “below the upper arm and the inner arm”.

✦ In person, please tell me if you absolutely love or are not vibing with the design. We can make any changes and adjustments to your liking. I would not want you to get something you do not love.

✦ Please let me know if you are sick and reschedule your appointment.

  • ✦Do not take any oral antibiotics (I may suggest a reschedule if it conflicts with health)

✦Eat a meal prior to your appointment time

    ✦Be well-rested

✦No heavy alcohol the night before

✦Applying lotion daily helps with the health of your skin & is good to do so throughout the week before your appointment. Try not to do so the day of!

    ✦Be familiar with faq/studio location/policies

✦If you want to use numbing cream, make sure to read the instructions on the product and ask your tattoo artist beforehand. I am okay with clients using numbing cream, other artists may not!

    ✦Buy aftercare products beforehand

✦If you have any questions or concerns before, during, or after the tattoo appointment, please do not hesitate to let me know as I will try to answer everything to the best of my ability. This is your tattoo and is made with the hopes that you will enjoy it.

✦If you need a break, do not hesitate to ask for one. If you need to use the bathroom, need water, or need a moment, please do so!

  • ✦Arrive in clothing that makes the tattoo placement easily accessible (or bring a change of clothes). Please don’t wear anything you care about as ink may stain the article of clothing.
